Over a half-century since the Mark I debuted, the Mesa/Boogie Mark VII released in 2023 distills Randall Smith’s 50-year career in visionary amp design, innovation, and performance into the simplest, most versatile, and most compact full-powered amplifier ever!
Designed new from the ground up, the compact, 3-channel, 90-watt Mark VII offers guitarists the full range of iconic sounds from Mark Series history, plus two new sounds: the throwback yet infamous Mark IIB and a new, modern, high-gain mode full of character and attitude, aptly named Mark VII.
Capable of taking on any genre or style, the Mark VII goes from crystal cleans to various modes of crunch to crushing metal sounds. The three-channel, nine-mode preamp, coupled with Mesa/Boogie’s legendary Simul-Class Power section (offering three distinct characters across three wattage ranges) leapfrogs its predecessor, the Mark Five, and the secret Mark Six prototype, to provide guitar players of all stripes at the most power-packed Boogie Mark model, ever!
This latest Chapter in the “Boogie Book of Tone” offers discerning players analog, all-tube sound, Soul, and feel in a smaller, more compact, yet more comprehensive package, the Mark VII offers inspiration and freedom across all musical styles.

The Mark VII Head can be paired with the user’s speaker cabinet(s) of choice. Use a MESA 1x12 cabinet for portability, or one (or two) MESA 4x12 cabinets for maximum punch and projection.
